Everything you need to participate in SnapShotND! One Day in the Life of ND Libraries 2010 is right here! Questions or suggestions? Please contact Christine Kujawa, ckujawa@cdln.info, Maren Niemeier, maren.niemeier@gmail.com, or Beth Sorenson, bethsorenson@mail.und.nodak.edu. Step 1: Pick a day in April 2010 to participate. We are encouraging libraries to do this prior to or during National Library Week, April 11-17, but we will continue to collect your photos and stats all month long! Step 2: Get ready! Here are some resources to help you out: Photo and Comment Consent Form rtf pdf Statistics Tracking Form rtf pdf SnapShotND! logo jpg Press Release rtf Step 3: The Big Day! Take pictures of people using the library and participating in library activities, and share your results! Share your statistics by filling out the SnapShotND! survey Share your photos! There are 3 options to get your photos added: Option 1 - Fast & Easy E-mail your pictures to Christine Kujawa at ckujawa@cdln.info. Please be sure to include captions for the photos, along with the name of your library. Christine will upload your pictures to the group so everyone can see them. Option 2 - DIY with Our Flickr Account If you want to organize your own pictures and edit your captions but don't want to set up an account, email Christine and she'll send the login information for a shared Flickr account plus share some tips on how to upload and organize your photos so they show up. Option 3 - Use Your Own Flickr Account You can join the SnapShotND! One Day in the Life of ND Libraries 2010 group and add your pictures to the pool. Please add a caption for each picture and also tag your picture with the name of your library. If your pictures don't show up right away, let Christine know! She has tips from Flickr staff on what settings to check for your pictures and your account. Step 4: The Results We will provide a summary of the statistics in early May on the SnapShotND! page. |
