Constitutional Measure 2

This measure proposes eliminating property taxes levied by local governments. It will be voted on during North Dakota’s primary election on June 12, 2012. Property taxes fund local services such as school districts and city/county departments, including libraries.

If passed, this measure will greatly impact our libraries and budgetary process and would become effective from January 1, 2012. We should all know what this measure is and what will happen if it passes. Below are a few links to get you started.
